If that doesn’t sell it to you, it’s probably worth noting that this destination is so stunning at even UNESCO deemed it World Heritage Site worthy!
The beautiful Jozani Natural Forest Reserve is nestled within the central east region of Zanzibar.
This gorgeous, leafy forest is home to the island’s rare Red Colobos Monkey, who are full of character and roam the forests freely. The forest is also home to other species of monkey including the Syke’s monkey, as well as small bucks and bush pigs. It’s said that the elusive Zanzibar leopard roams this forest too, though it hasn’t been spotted for several years…
