From our expert

  • A chic safari lodge nestled along a tranquil bank of Zambia’s share of the Zambezi River.
  • With contemporary elegance and a dining and bar area that is fronted by a large teak deck with views over the river, a stay here promises a truly luxurious experience.
  • Each of the seven Luxury Suites exhibits minimalist style and a spacious interior that boasts an open-air shower, comfortable lounge area, and large deck with a plunge pool.
  • Indulge in exquisite fusion cuisine on the camp’s airy deck, by a crackling fire, or atop a sandbank in the river.
  • Take a refreshing dip in Sausage Tree’s pristine 25m lap pool.
  • Experience unforgettable game drives through the wildlife-rich wilderness of Lower Zambezi National Park.
  • We recommend pairing a Zambian escape with a trip to Zimbabwe.

Best Time To Travel

The best time to visit Zambia is during the dry season between June and November, ideal for walking safaris and wildlife sightings. To see Victoria Falls flowing at its greatest volume, visit between April and June after the rainy season; this is the best time for a helicopter flight over the falls. For white water rafting and access to Devil's Pool, visit between September to November when the water levels are lower.
