Sri Lanka is considered a year-round destination due to its various coasts and weather patterns. The south-west coast, which is where Galle is, sees fantastic warm and sunny weather from January to April, and experiences its monsoon season from May to July. For the best beach experience, we recommend travelling between January and April and for spectacular whale watching you should travel between December and April.
