Pair this with a stay in an overwater villa and you really will experience the perfect Maldives honeymoon.
The Maldives is easily home to some of the finest restaurants and the best all-inclusive dining experiences in the world. When you opt for an all-inclusive holiday in the Maldives you can expect a fantastic choice of diverse fine dining venues to choose from that all serve sensational dishes.

When you think of the Maldives, you think of the bright turquoise waters, right? At the top of our list for the best things to do in the Maldives is snorkelling. Step down the ladder of your overwater villa into the beautiful lagoon and you’ll discover schools of colourful marine fishes swimming by, a couple of sea turtles and maybe even a reef shark!
Another great experience to be had in the Maldives is scuba diving. Venture beyond the lagoon into the deep hued ocean waters and you’ll discover an underwater wonderland full of kaleidoscopic coral beds, eagle rays, caverns and in some areas; whale sharks!
As soon as you arrive, you can feel your shoulders relaxing and the tension you was holding onto begin to disappear; the Maldives is undeniably one of the most peaceful and relaxing destinations in the world.
Your visit here would be incomplete without indulging in a nourishing body treatment, a blissful massage or a revitalising facial; many of the spa's use locally sourced and chemical-free ingredients as well to further enhance the healing experience. Many of the resorts also offer tranquil yoga sessions and other wellness-inspired journeys for those looking for an experience that helps both the body and the mind.
What could be more romantic than a tour by boat that’ll take you beyond your little island into the vast sapphire ocean waters? You could embark on a sunset cruise with Champagne and canapés on a hand carved wooden Dhoni, take to the ocean waters in a yacht for an afternoon of island hopping to tiny islets, or even a tour that’ll provide you with front row seats to an incredible dolphin spotting safari or whale watching adventure.
Although many of the Maldives’s islets are occupied with luxurious private island resorts, there’s also a vibrant and thriving culture awaiting on ‘home islands’ such as Thulhaadhoo. If you’re looking a day trip that’ll introduce you to the rich and warm population who call paradise they’re home, it’s definitely worth considering an island hopping tour of the Maldives.
There’s not shortage of romance along these blissful atolls, and if you’re looking for an unforgettable experience on your Maldives honeymoon with the one you love then you’re in luck!
What could be more romantic than a gourmet private dinner for two along the edge of the sandy beachfront? You can choose a secluded spot at sunset with your own personal chef grilling mouth-watering seafood whenever you say, or a luxury picnic all set up and waiting for you on a private white-sand islet in the heart of the ocean. Another great experience we love is the chance to watch your favourite movie under the stars at a pop-up Cinema on the Beach!

What is the best time of year to go to The Maldives?
The Maldives experience beautiful hot weather all year round thanks to it's location near the equator. With this tropical location comes the chance of rain at any point throughout the year, with a higher chance from May to October, however this is likely to clear up very quickly and be replaced by the sun in no time. Rain or shine, the Maldives is always a hot and beautiful place to visit.
How long does it take to get to The Maldives from the UK?
Overall the flight time takes roughly 10 hours and 30 minutes, but we recommend twinning the Maldives with a trip to Sri Lanka; as it’s just a 1 hour flight away and Sri Lanka’s authentic culture and stunning UNESCO sites perfectly compliment the Maldives’s experience.
