Surrounded by fine, white sandy beaches and azure-blue lagoons, take a stroll down the coast or venture out to Port Louis, home to the oldest horse racing club in the Southern Hemisphere. Races are usually held on weekends between April and November and can make for a fun-filled day. Spend the afternoon taking a scenic stroll amongst Mauritius’ varied terrains or explore the island’s second UNESCO world Heritage site: Le Morne Cultural Landscape, a serrated mountain that overhangs over the top of the surrounding lagoon, ultimately creating a spectacular skyline.
For a more intimate experience you and your loved one can slip away to the private overwater couple’s treatment suites where you can both enjoy a 90 minute sensual massage. Wind down afterwards and enjoy each other’s company with a bottle of rosé.
Overall this historic volcanic island in the heart of the Indian Ocean has an assortment of activities to keep you entertained and relaxed.
