Day 3
Mountain Biking through Atacama Desert & Valle de la Luna

Explore the expansive Atacama Desert on an enthralling mountain biking adventure showcasing the variety of unique natural wonders and fascinating manmade structures found throughout this arid landscape. Begin your tour with a visit to Quitor, an ancient Indian fortress dating back before the Inca civilisation. From Quitor, you'll continue along a winding path taking you through narrow gorges that intersperse the Salt Mountains, a white-dusted terrain dramatically contrasted against raw rock faces. Next, you'll pass through the red landscape of Garganta del Diablo canyon until you reach the isolated San Isidro chapel, stunningly set amidst a captivating backdrop of rolling red mountains.

Later that afternoon, you'll venture off to Valle de la Luna, renowned as one of the most beautiful natural locations on the planet. Carved by thousands of years of wind and salt erosion, the ethereal landscape is best viewed from above,  allowing you to take in the terrain in all its grandeur.

Day 4
Cactus Hike & Andean Lagoons

You'll have the chance to discover some of the region's most unique species of flora and fauna. Begin with a hike across Guatín by the deep gullies of the Vilama River, a craggy hillside likened to a Martian landscape dotted with abandoned settlements and giant ancient cactus, some reaching heights of seven metres.

Next, you'll visit the southwestern region of San Pedro, home to some of the Atacama's most enchanting scenery. Your tour begins at the crossroads of the ancient Inca Trail, a site of great historical significance that once linked Chile to Ecuador, before continuing on to the local village of Socaire, stopping briefly to view the village's traditional church and historical terraced plantations. The remainder of the tour will showcase Miscanti and Miñiques, two crystalline lagoons that reside against an awe-inspiring, encircling mountain backdrop. It is here you'll have the chance to spot some of the wildlife that inhabits the region, with pink flamingoes and vicunas frequently sighted.

Day 5
Fly from Calama to Santiago

After an unforgettable tour of the Atacama Desert, you'll return to Santiago for another transfer to your next destination. Once you've checked out of the lodge, you'll be met by your driver and transferred to the local airport. Before moving onto your next location, you'll enjoy a reinvigorating lunch at Las Cumbres Ranch, a unique experience made even more spectacular by the enchanting surroundings.

The next stop on your itinerary is Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, an area within the Southern Patagonian Ice Field known for its scenic fjords, colossal icebergs and dazzling glaciers. You'll embark on an approximately hour-and-a-half journey via ship through the fjords, spotting an array of rare wildlife along the way, such as colonies of sea lions, majestic condors, humpback whales, orcas, and the southern right whale. Once you've docked, you'll embark on a 45-minute hike up to Serrano Glacier, a colossal blanket of ice that seamlessly lapses into a fjord. Following the hike, you'll stop by La Peninsula Ranch for a delightful lunch and a brief exploration of the landscape on foot or on horseback before reboarding the ship and sailing up to Balmaceda Glacier.
