Day 1
Fly from UK to Bogota

Upon arrival in Bogota, you'll be welcomed by your driver and transported to your accommodation for the night. 

Day 1-2
1 night stay at Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota

Set afront towering verdant mountains, Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota is a marvellous luxury hotel offering exclusive and opulent accommodation moments away from Bogota's lively financial district. After your long flight, you can enjoy reinvigorating with a selection of treatments at the on-site spa before dining at one of the many extraordinary dining venues in the nearby Zona G neighbourhood.

Day 2

On your second day in Bogota, you'll embark on a guided tour taking you through the city's most notable attractions. Witness a glimpse of 17th-century Bogota in the historic La Candelaria, renowned for the colourful houses that line quaint avenues, charming boutique shops, and collection of cultural hotspots, including the spectacular Gold Museum, home to South America's largest collection of pre-Colombian gold artefacts. Following your visit to La Candelaria, you'll walk through narrow streets adorned with enchanting mural artworks, demonstrating the city's artistic spirit, before viewing the magnificent facades of government buildings and visiting the iconic Plaza Boliver, Bogota's main square.

Day 3
Fly from Bogota to Pitalito

After you've checked out of the hotel, you'll be met by your driver and transferred to the airport from which you will depart to your next destination, Pitalito. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to the town of San Agustin. 

Day 3-6
3 nights stay at Monasterio San Agustin

Monasterio San Agustin, your residence for the next three nights, is an exquisite luxury hotel nestled among lush forestry and sublime mountains in Colombia's Andes. When you're not out exploring the area's incredible heritage sites, you can enjoy relaxing with the mountain breeze in the hotel's tranquil gardens, indulging in Colombian fare at the on-site restaurant and marvelling at the breathtaking surroundings from your own private balcony. 

Day 4
San Agustin Archaeological Site

During your time in San Agustin, you'll embark on a tour through the San Agustin Archaeological Park, an archaeological site containing hundreds of intriguing carved structures dispersed across a 500 km² landscape of forest, hills, and waterfalls. Home to South America's largest collection of pre-Colombian religious monuments and megalithic sculptures, the park offers a vivid glimpse into the ancient practices of the mysterious Andean culture that once resided in the region. Following your tour, you'll travel down to the headwaters of the Magdelena River and visit the village of Obando to view eight ancient underground burial chambers before concluding your tour at the El Salto de Bordones waterfall, the second largest in South America.

Day 6
Fly from Pitalito to Leticia

Today you'll be taken by private car transfer to the airport, where you will depart Pilalito on a private charter flight to Leticia; this is a fantastic opportunity to witness the stunning surroundings below as it changes from soaring mountains to verdant forests. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by a guide who will escort you to the river port from which you will embark on a 45-minute boat transfer up the Amazon River to your lodge.

Day 6-10
4 nights stay at Calanoa Jungle Lodge

Nestled on the banks of the Amazon River, Calanoa Jungle Lodge offers an exclusive and immersive stay in the rainforest with rustic style suites adorned with woven palm roofs, wooden interiors and panoramic windows for optimal viewing of the luscious forestry and flowing river.  

Day 6-7
Mocagua Community Visit, Pink Dolphin Watching & Jungle Adventures

The adventure begins your first night at the lodge with a guided nighttime trek through the lodge's reserve, a wonderful introduction to the lively atmosphere of the jungle, with a plethora of opportunities to spot nocturnal wildlife. The following morning, you'll visit the nearby village of the Mocaguas, an indigenous community that lives by rural practices that have been passed down for centuries, offering a rare glimpse into a way of life few encounter. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a captivating hike through the Calanoa Natural Reserve, home to a wide diversity of exotic flora and elusive wildlife. Along the way, you can anticipate sighting mischievous monkeys swinging through the canopies and various bird species, as well as smaller fauna. From the reserve, you'll travel to the river for an exciting evening of pink dolphin watching, the largest species of freshwater dolphin in the world. 

Day 8-9
Puerto Nariño, Lago Tarapoto & Canoeing in Matamata Creek

Begin the day with a serene boat ride along the palm-fringed river to Puerto Nario, a town only accessible by boat. The visit offers a fascinating insight into the culture of the Ticuna community, an indigenous tribe that has resided in the Amazon for hundreds of years, and how their daily lives centre around the Amazon River and rainforest. Following the village visit, you'll have more opportunities to spot pink dolphins on an excursion to Lago Tarapoto, a lake famed for its docile waters, massive water Lillies and small population of manatees. Once you're back on land, you'll enjoy a hike across Calanoa Reserve to Matamata Creek for an enthralling canoe excursion down the river back to the lodge, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

Day 10-11
Fly from Leticia to UK

It's time to return to the city after four incredible nights in the rainforest. Before departing from Leticia airport for Bogota, you'll take one last boat ride along the river. Once you arrive in Bogota, you will be transferred to the Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota for one more night before departing for the UK the next day.
