Day 2-3
Visit Valle de la Luna & Explore Tiwanaku

Venture out beyond the city and spend an afternoon navigating wooden walkaways through craggy rockfaces and towering spires in Bolivia's mesmerising Valle de la Luna, one of the country's most extraordinary landscapes.

Following your introduction to Bolivia in La Paz, it's time to move on to the next leg of your adventure. Meet your driver once you've checked out of your hotel and enjoy a comfortable transfer to Tiwanaku, an ancient Pre-Colombian Andean site comprised of 4 square kilometres of decorated ceramics, monumental structures, and megalithic blocks such as the Gate of the Sun.

Later that evening, you'll attend a culturally immersive talk held by resident Kallawaya, Tata Benjo, and learn about the Tiwanaku culture that the Kallawaya are descended from, as well as their unique healing practices.

Day 4
Boat from Huatajata to Isla del Luna

Your tour of the region continues as you check out of the hotel and enjoy a swift transfer to Cocotoni Bay for a private boat excursion to Isla del Luna.

Isla del Luna & Isla del Sol

Upon arrival on Isla del Luna, you'll visit the sacred Iñak Uyu Palace, one of the best-preserved structures of the Andean highlands. Today, only inhabited by a small community of villagers on the western coast of the island, Isla del Luna remains undisturbed by modernization, providing visitors with a vivid insight into how life may have looked here thousands of years ago.

Next, you'll reboard your private boat and depart to Isla del Sol, believed by the Inca to be the birthplace of their civilisation. Home to over 80 crumbling ruins, Isla del Sol is significantly larger than Isla del Luna, with terrains of verdant hills, immaculate beaches and rugged cliffs.

Day 4-5

Occupying a prime location atop Isla del Sola, Posada del Inca Eco-Lodge is a quaint luxury lodge offering guests an authentic taste of the regional culture. Once you've checked out of the lodge, you'll be transferred back to the mainland before meeting your driver for your transfer back to La Paz. You'll spend one night in La Paz at Casa Grande Hotel and depart to your next destination the following morning. Upon arrival in Sucre, you'll be warmly welcomed by your driver and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 6-7

You'll spend a day seeing the mines and learning about the mountain's history, from the Spanish Colonial era to present use, before continuing on to your next accommodation.

One of the oldest pre-Incan civilisations in the Andes, Alcaya is home to crumbling tombs and a number of mummies displayed alongside intricate ceramics and woven objects that date back to the 12th century, providing those who visit with fascinating insight and appreciation of this ancient culture. Conclude your time in Salar de Uyuni with an unforgettable evening of stargazing, one of the best locations in the world to take in the night skies with any light disturbances.
