Day 5-6
1 night stay at Parador Santa Maria La Real

Set within a colonial-style building dating back to the 18th-century, Parador Santa Maria La Real is a charming boutique hotel set amidst the enchanting streets of Sucre. Boasting elegant accommodation inspired by the regional history, a stay at the hotel is an experience in and of itself, with a host of exceptional amenities found on-site, including a restaurant, spa and rooftop lounge.

Day 5
Exploring Sucre

Sucre, nicknamed "The White City," is a breathtaking slice of Bolivia's rich colonial past, nestled away in the Bolivian highlands. With majestic plazas, government buildings, cathedrals, and more, the city is known for its signature red-roofed cityscape and some of the continent's best-preserved colonial architecture.

Add a visit to the Sucre Dinosaur Park to your itinerary if time allows, and spend a day marvelling at the world's greatest collection of dinosaur footprints, with over 15,000 discovered there.

Day 6
Road transfer from Sucre to Potosi

Prepare to discover another of Bolivia's colonial cities as you bid farewell to Sucre and meet your driver for a transfer to Potosi.

Day 7
Laguna Hedionda

Spanning an area of 3 sq km, Laguna Hedionda is a saline lake fringed by bright-white salt flats and encircled by the towering peaks of the Andes mountains and volcanoes. Known for its population of migratory white and pink flamingoes, a visit to the lake provides the rare opportunity to witness the few species that inhabit the unhospitable region, with alpacas and llamas often spotted grazing nearby.

Day 8-9
Stargazing, Tunupa Volcano & The Mummies of Coquesa

Few places on the earth can compare to Salar de Uyuni for stargazing, with its serene ambience and clear night skies. During your time here, you'll spend an evening marvelling at the constellations, many of which are unseen in the Northern Hemisphere, including the "Southern Cross".

The following day, you'll venture across the expansive salt flats of Salar de Uyuni to the small village of Coquesa, huddled beneath the dormant Tunupa Volcano. The tour will provide an intriguing glimpse into life in this distant location, which has a small population. Then it's on to the Coquesa Mummies Cave, where you'll see the incredibly well-preserved mummies that have been housed here for 500 years.

Day 10
Fly from Salar de Uyuni to La Paz

It's time to return to the city. Once you've checked out of the hotel, you'll be met by your driver and transferred to the airport before departing for La Paz.
