Day 2-5

Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, Ruckomechi Camp is an elegant safari lodge providing luxurious accommodation in the heart of the Mana Pools National Park. Benefiting from extraordinary views of the park, your river-facing chalet features contemporary furnishings, regional artwork and seamless access to the surroundings.

Day 2-4
Game Drive, Canoeing Excursion & Zambezi River Cruise

Home to an incredible variety of iconic African wildlife, Mana Pools National Park is one of Zimbabwe's premier safari destinations, with healthy populations of elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, as well as endangered species such as lions, cheetahs, Cape wild dog and leopards, who can be found roaming the expansive floodplains. Throughout the duration of your stay, you'll embark on several expert-led game drives where you'll have the chance to track the wildlife across ecosystems of river frontage, islands, sandbanks, and pools, flanked by forests of mahogany, ebony, and baobab.

Explore the park from a different perspective on an engaging canoeing excursion along the Zambezi River, a fantastic vantage point to view elephants and hippos cooling off by the river banks. Next, you'll travel along a further portion of the river on a sunset or sunrise cruise, another enthralling activity designed to showcase the remarkable scenery of the park from an optimal viewing position.

Day 5
Fly from Mana Pools National Park to Hwange National Park

Following a riveting introduction to Zimbabwe in Mana Pools National Park, it's time to move on to your next destination. Once you've checked out of the lodge, you'll be transferred to the local airstrip for a quick flight to Hwange National Park. The flight provides sensational bird's-eye views of the savannahs below, making it an excellent opportunity to take in the region's grand vistas.

Day 5-8
3 nights stay at Linkwasha Camp

Linkwasha Camp, located within a private concession in the southwestern corner of Hwange National Park, offers luxurious tented accommodation with contemporary furnishings and touches of regional character. Featuring spectacular views of a busy waterhole and the surrounding Ngamo Plains, you can expect to see a variety of wildlife from the comfort of your room throughout your stay.

Day 5-8
Game Drive & Walking Safari through Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest national park, is famous for its vast size and incredible biodiversity. A game drive through the park will take you past elephants and rare species of antelope, as well as highly sought-after big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy a more intimate exploration of the park on a guided walking safari through the park's various ecosystems, providing the chance to spot smaller fauna such as porcupines, pangolins and the rare Serval wildcat.

Day 5-8
Birding & Stargazing

Hwange National Park is a birder's haven, with over 500 species circling its skies, the vast majority of which are indigenous to this part of Africa. Throughout this captivating birdwatching excursion, see predators such as raptors, martial eagles, and stately secretarybirds swoop in with the hope of catching prey, as well as rare species such as the lilac-breasted roller, Southern pied babbler, Allen's gallinule, and African golden oriole.

Make the most of your accommodation's secluded location and enjoy a captivating stargazing session where you can enjoy marvelling at the constellations without any interruption from artificial light.

Day 8
Fly from Hwange National Park to Victoria Falls

Enjoy one last morning at the camp before meeting your driver for the ride back to the local airstrip. From there, you'll depart back to Victoria Falls for a three-night stay.

Day 8-11
3 nights stay at The Victoria Falls Hotel

Nestled within an immaculate private garden, The Victoria Falls Hotel is a charming luxury hotel set within a historic building dating back to the early 20th-century. Feel as if you've been transported back in time when you dine in the hotel's Edwardian-style dining room and enjoy rejuvenating from your wildlife adventure with a trip to the on-site spa.

Day 9-10
Victoria Falls & Sunset Cruise

On your second day at the hotel, you'll venture out to see the region's most famous attraction, the magnificent Victoria Falls. The falls, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, presents an awe-inspiring sight, with an astonishing width of approximately 1,708m. You'll be led by a guide on a trail that best showcases the grandeur of Victoria Falls, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The next day, you'll embark on a sunset or sunrise cruise along the Zambezi River, a wildlife hotspot frequented by river crocodiles, hippo bloats, elephant herds, and a variety of bird species. Throughout the cruise, you can enjoy sipping on a refreshing drink as the boat slowly moves through different sections of the river, providing an excellent vantage point for viewing the river and the terrain that surrounds it.
