Day 5
Road transfer from Cape Town to Franschhoek

Today you'll depart Cape Town by private car transfer and head to Franschhoek, South Africa's unofficial culinary capital, where you'll stay at the luxurious La Residence for the next two nights.

Once you've landed, you'll board a light aircraft from Windhoek for your flight to Sossusvlei, where you'll stay at Little Kulala.

Day 7-9
2 nights stay at Little Kulala

Set within the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve, Little Kulala is an intimate safari lodge featuring only 11 rustic cabins. The lodge offers guests the opportunity to sleep under the stars on rooftop beds, enjoy wine tastings in its wine cellar, and unwind in its refreshing outdoor pool.

Day 8-9
Sossusvlei Dunes & Kulala Nature Reserve

One of Namibia's most iconic landscapes, you'll begin your stay by visiting the clay pan of Sossusvlei, famed for its vast ochre sand dunes and desert-adapted wildlife. As well as this, you'll also visit the white clay pan of Deadvlei, which sits at the foot of Sossuslvei's sand dunes, famous for its scorched, skeletal trees which are thought to be approximately 900 years old.

There will be plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing as you embark on nature  drives within the private Kulala Nature Reserve; expect to see animals including gemsboks, bat-eared foxes, and brown hyenas. On the morning of your departure you'll be treated to a hot air balloon ride over the Kulala Wilderness Reserve where you'll benefit from extraordinary views across the sand dunes. Afterwards, you can look forward to a luxurious champagne breakfast.

Day 9
Fly from Sossusvlei to Damaraland

After your hot air balloon ride, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your onward flight to Namibia's Damaraland. Once you've landed, you'll be transferred by 4x4 to the secluded Damaraland Camp for three nights.

Day 9-12
3 nights stay at Damaraland Camp

Nestled within the Huab River Valley, Damaraland Camp is rustic and traditional, its remote location placing you in the very heart of this rugged wilderness. The camp features an outdoor swimming pool, spacious living area, and daily nature drives into the valley.

Day 10-11
The Damaraland

Your time in Namibia's Damaraland will be spent immersing yourself in the vast, rugged landscape, learning about the region's diverse fauna and flora. On dedicated wildlife drives and guided nature walks, you'll have to chance to encounter the extraordinary desert-adapted elephants, black rhinos, and giraffes, plus many more native species.

One of the most fascinating parts of your stay will include a visit to Twyfelfontein, famous for its many rock paintings and engravings. Thought to be anywhere between 1000 - 10,000 years old, the engravings depict hunting scenes with a variety of animals on display; the most remarkable is the presence of a seal, as the ocean is approximately 100km away from the site.
