Day 1
Fly from UK to Tanzania

Welcome to Tanzania! Home to the iconic Serengeti National Park and the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania is renowned for its varied landscapes and 'Big Five' Game, offering some of the best safaris in Africa. Once you've landed at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by your private driver and taken to the first hotel on your trip, Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana.

Day 1-2
1 nights stay at Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana

Situated at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana is surrounded by a thicket of lush vegetation, located within one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations. With cosy rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, a luxurious spa, and locally-grown coffee, this is the ideal spot to rejuvenate after your long-haul flight.

Day 2
Fly from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a rejuvenating night, you're ready to head out into the wilderness and explore Tanzania's vast Tarangire National Park. After being collected and taken to the airstrip, you'll board a small aircraft - like something from Out of Africa - and taken to Kuro Tarangire, your next accommodation.

Day 2-5
Kuro Tarangire

With only six rooms, Kuro Tarangire is an exclusive safari lodge in the Tarangire National Park, its rustic accommodation exuding traditional charm and African authenticity. With day and night game drives, you'll encounter some of the region's abundant wildlife populations in truly remote surroundings.

Day 2-5
Tarangire National Park

The home of Tanzania's largest elephant population, Tarangire National Park is a natural haven of sprawling savannah and shrubland stretching on endlessly towards the horizon.

During your stay at Kuro Tarangire, get ready to embark on a wealth of day and night game drives; as you meander along the riverbanks, you'll be able to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and many more! The night drives are particularly unique as the savannah holds a different vibrancy once the sun has dipped below the horizon. Bush walks will allow you to see much more of the national park than what you'd see in a 4x4, particularly the smaller mammals and reptiles that hide beneath the thick tufts of grass.

Day 5
Fly from Tarangire National Park to The Ngorongoro Crater

Today begins your adventure to The Ngorongoro Crater; boarding a private flight from the lodge's airstrip, you'll take to the skies, watching as the landscape changes, finally unveiling the sublime Ngorongoro Crater. Once you've touched down, you'll be taken by private car transfer to your next stop: Entamanu Ngorongoro.

Day 5-7
2 nights stay at Entamanu Ngorongoro

With a strong focus on sustainability, the rim-side location of Entamanu Ngorongoro offers spectacular views across the the Ngorongoro Crater, a prime position for spotting some of the resident wildlife. Staying in one of the lodge's seven rooms, you'll enjoy traditional cuisine, highland walks and cultural experiences.

Day 5-7
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area

A world heritage site, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is named after the majestic Ngorongoro Crater, located within the Highlands of Tanzania.

Within this unique topography lives a whole host of African wildlife, including elephants, big cats and giraffe (though giraffe are not present in the crater due to the steep descent). At Entamanu Ngorongoro, you'll be situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, its unique vantage point offering panoramic views unlike anywhere else. Your days will be spent embarking on highland walks, crater drives and Masai village visits.

Day 7
Fly from The Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

After an immersive 2 nights at Entamanu Ngorongoro, you're now off to the last place on your Tanzania holiday: the Serengeti National Park. Buckle-up once more on your private flight to the next airstrip - it won't be long and you'll have landed and been met by your representative from Serengeti Safari Camp.

Day 7-10
3 nights stay at Serengeti Safari Camp

Serengeti Safari Camp truly defines what it means to be a 'camp'; for this is a unique accommodation that has no fixed place. Offering barefoot luxury, this mobile camp allows you to migrate along with the wildlife, its strategic camping locations providing you with the very best wildlife viewing. With indoor and outdoor dining, open-plan Meru tents with en-suite bathrooms, and 4x4 tours, you'll experience the Serengeti National Park in the very best way possible.

Day 7-10
Serengeti National Park

You can't visit Tanzania without going to the Serengeti, the country's most iconic safari destination. Covering an area of 14,750 km², this vast wilderness is home to animals such as hippos, zebra, buffalo, elephants - the list goes on!

Serengeti Safari Camp's expert guides and naturalists will immerse you in the unique ecosystems of this extraordinary terrain, ready to answer any questions that you may have. With daily 4x4 drives and bush walks, you'll have the opportunity to encounter everything from Africa's 'Big Five' to the unique leopard tortoise. End the day the right way and toast the iconic African setting sun from the camp's bar tent.

Day 10
Fly from Serengeti National Park to UK

You've loved every moment of Tanzania but your 9-night trip has sadly come to an end. After being taken back to the airstrip, you'll board a short flight to Arusha where you'll then catch your connecting international flight back to the UK via Amsterdam. Whether you want to explore more of Africa or travel somewhere entirely new on your next adventure, your Luxury Travel Specialist will be ready to tailor-make your next holiday.
