Day 1-2
Fly from UK to Cape Town

Welcome to South Africa! Your adventure begins in Cape Town, where you will spend the first three nights. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your representative at the airport and transported to your hotel.

Day 2-5
3 nights stay at Ellerman House

Nestled within an immaculate private garden in the heart of Cape Town, Ellerman House is a charming boutique hotel benefiting from spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Day 3
Cape Peninsula Tour

Just beyond the bustling streets of Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula is a haven of natural beauty, characterised by pristine beaches, a wealth of wildlife and rocky promontories that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. On this day tour, you'll visit Clifton and Camps Bay, two stunning beaches huddled beneath towering mountainsides. Awarded Blue Flag status, the beaches are renowned for their clean white shores and dazzling blue waters, the perfect locations to unwind and soak up the South African sun. For those looking to venture out and explore the waters, the beach town of Muizenberg is the peninsula's prime surfing destination. Immerse yourself in the region's natural beauty by hiking up to Cape Point, a nature reserve that is home to a variety of flora and fauna as well as providing hikers with marvellous views of the ocean.

Home to a variety of quaint harbours that exude characteristics of charming seaside towns, this peninsula tour will see you pass through Hout Bay, browsing its markets and exploring hiking trails, as well as Simon's Town, known for its picturesque streets and rich history. From there, you'll stop by Boulder Beach, home to one of the largest African penguin colonies on the continent. 

Day 5
Road transfer from Cape Town to Franschhoek

Following a fantastic introduction to South Africa in Cape Town, it's time to move on to your next destination. Enjoy one final breakfast at the hotel before meeting your driver for a comfortable transfer to the scenic Cape Winelands. 

Day 5-7
2 nights stay at Babylonstoren

Set against the awe-inspiring mountainous backdrop of the Franschhoek wine valley, Babylonstoren is a historic farm that doubles as your accommodation for the next two nights. This extraordinary hotel occupies a Cape Dutch building that dates back to 1692 and boasts bright and airy contemporary-style accommodation with breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. Dining at the hotel is an experience in and of itself, with each meal comprised of local and seasonal produce, served with regional wine. 

Day 5-6
Rowing the Dam & Cycling Babylonstoren

Begin your first day at the hotel with a delicious farm-to-table breakfast before venturing out and exploring the stunning landscapes that surround your accommodation. Cycle to Babylonstoren's private dam and embark on a tranquil rowing excursion along the docile waters, witnessing grand mountain and valley vistas unfold before you as various bird species enliven the skies above you. Continue your adventure across the hotel's expansive 200-hectare property on a cycling tour through serene paths fringed with shady trees swayed by the warm breeze. 

Day 7
Fly from Cape Town to Hoedspruit

After your peaceful escape to the Cape Winelands, it's time to return to Cape Town and board a flight to your next destination. Upon arrival at Eastgate airport, you'll be met by your lodge representative and transferred to your accommodation in Greater Kruger National Park.

Day 7-10
3 nights stay at Royal Malewane Safari Lodge

Day 8-9
Thornybush Game Reserve

During your stay at the lodge, you'll embark on an expert-led game drive through the Thornybush Game Reserve, a privately owned 14000-hectare reserve that shares an un-fenced border with the Kruger National Park. A renowned wildlife destination for its diverse variety of species, a game drive through the park will provide you with the opportunity to see over 140 mammal species, including Africa's "Big Five", as well as giraffes, wild dogs, cheetah, and many more. Tailor-made to your personal requests, the guides at Royal Malewane work to track the species you're most keen on spotting. 

Experience a more intimate exploration of the reserve on a guided bush walk taking you through various ecosystems, a spectacular opportunity to examine smaller flora and fauna, including the over 110 reptile species that can be found throughout the reserve.  

Day 10
Fly from Kruger to Zimbabwe

It's time to bid farewell to South Africa as you make your way to the local airstrip for your flight to Zimbabwe. After a quick connecting flight, you'll arrive in Victoria Falls, where you'll be met by your driver and taken to your next accommodation.

Day 10-13
3 nights stay at Victoria Falls River Lodge

Occupying a prime location on the banks of the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls River Lodge is the final stop on your itinerary. Characterised by contemporary accommodation featuring stylish interiors, the lodge perfectly combines elegant luxury with an atmosphere of indoor-outdoor living, ensuring your stay is authentic and immersive. Day 11
Game Drive through Zambezi National Park

You'll embark on a series of expert-led game drives across the nearby Zambezi National Park, home to a wide variety of larger mammals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, multiple species of antelope and over 400 species of birds. Situated upstream from Victoria Falls, the park's secluded location means you'll feel completely immersed in the wilderness as you pass undisturbed wildlife roaming the plains and spot peeping crocodiles and bloats of hippos cooling off on the Zambezi River banks.

Day 13-15
Fly from Victoria Falls to UK

After an incredible journey across South Africa and Zimbabwe, it's time to return to the UK. You'll be transported to the local airport and depart for Johannesburg for a short connecting flight before continuing on to the UK.
